I've been wanting to learn how to decorate a cake. I am tired of spending tons of money on birthday cakes. SO I decided that I should give it a go! So here is my first ever attempt at baking a cake... it just so happens to be my mom's birthday :)

Christmas Divorce

I received this in an email tonight and it made me laugh so hard I had to share!



A man in Phoenix calls his son in New York two days before Christmas and
says,"I hate to ruin your holiday, but I have to tell you that your mother
and I are divorcing; forty-five years of misery is enough.

"Pop, what are you talking about?" the son screams. We can't stand the
sight of each other any longer," the father says. "We're sick of each
other, and I'm sick of talking about this, so you call your sister in
Chicago and tell her."

Frantic, the son calls his sister, who explodes on the phone. "Like heck
they're getting divorced," she shouts, "I'll take care of this,"

She calls Phoenix immediately, and screams at her father, "You are NOT
getting divorced. Don't do a single thing until I get there. I'm calling
my brother back, and we'll both be there tomorrow. Until then, don't do a
thing, DO YOU HEAR ME?" and hangs up.

The old man hangs up his phone and turns to his wife. "Okay," he says,
"they're coming for Christmas and paying their own way."

BUMMER!

Well as some of you know my computer got a nasty little virus and crashed on me!!! Thankfully I do back up all of my images. Unfortunately I had to spend a small fortune on a new computer. After getting so many viruses with my PC I decided to switch over to mac. I just got my mac via fed-ex and am waiting for my editing software so I can get back to editing pictures. For those of you who I have done pictures for I have NOT forgotten about you and will get to editing as soon as I get my software. I look forward to posting more pictures!

One of my closest friends had to do a fundraiser tonight. So I got the privelage of watching her two adorable little boys! And man are they full of energy hehe. They were just toooo cute!

Well I am almost done editing the pictures from the wedding on the 27th WOOHOO!!! And as promised I thought I would throw a few in here for a bit of a sneak peak.

Beyond hectic

Well it seems as though I NEVER have a moment free lately! I have every Saturday booked from now until December 15th! I still haven't finished editing the pics from the wedding I did on the 27th and I have a wedding I am doing tomorrow! SO I really need to get my butt in gear lol.

Anyways, I shot a birthday party last Saturday for a WONDERFUL family! They were the greatest! They were so nice and really made me feel at home! I just finished editing the pics from that and I wanted to share a few of my favorites :)

I know I know!

I've been seriously lacking on the blog these last few days. I shot a wedding on the 27th and have been frantically processing all of the pictures. The bride was absolutely gorgeous, actually the entire ceremony was beyond beautiful. It started to drizzle lightly when the ceremony started and it actually reminded me a small bit of my own wedding. I even managed to capture a rainbow in the sky! BEAUTIFUL! I am slightly saddened by my end results though. You see I was not the only photographer there, and because of this I was not able to get all of the shots I would have liked to get for my portfolio such as the formal pictures. I mean I could have gotten them but I would have only had a couple with the bride looking at me. I don't blame the bride for this at all because everything was going so fast and the bride was trying to look at me but with everything going so fast I don't think she even had time to deal with two photographers, I just wish I could have gotten the formal shots as well. Oh well live and learn. This is the second time I've been a second shooter, and I am sure it will be my last. I just hope the bride likes the pictures I was able to get. I will post a few pictures from the wedding at a later date.

As for now 2 pics of my kids :)

We made Rory a fairy for Halloween. Seeing as she has very little hair I decided to spike the hair she has to make her look more fairy-like :)


And poor little Logan gets to suffer with his sisters hand-me-downs. Although, it doesn't look like he minds.

I can never think of anything clever to put here

There had been so much smoke the last couple days that we decided to bring our dogs inside. Now the only problem is I HIGHLY doubt my daughter will let us put them back outside. When we take them out to even potty she starts to scream. Anyways, I thought I would jump on and share a ton of pics I've taken over the last few days
